Safe Communities and Effective Public Service

Families across Southington, Cheshire, Wolcott, Prospect, and Waterbury need safe streets, reliable emergency response, and public services that work when they need them.

JACK’S STANDARD

Every public safety investment should make communities safer, improve response, or strengthen accountability.

WHY JACK UNDERSTANDS

As a former Southington Town Council member, Jack worked on local budgets and the services residents count on every day. He knows safe communities depend on prepared first responders, strong local partnerships, and responsible public management.

WHAT JACK WILL DO

• Protect state funding and grant programs that help towns equip and train police, fire, EMS, and emergency communications teams.

• Strengthen coordinated mental health crisis response, domestic violence prevention, and youth intervention.

• Demand transparent spending and clear performance measures for public safety and municipal service programs funded by the state.

HOW YOU’LL KNOW IT’S WORKING

Jack will publish an annual district public service scorecard showing state public safety funding delivered to each town, programs supported, and whether funded programs met their goals.
